With the release of the February Update, The Battle of Jakku content is being patched into the main game. That being said The Battle of Jakku playlist will get folded into the main games playlist across the board. If you would still like to play the unique Jakku maps only, you can still launch the mode you would like and pick the Jakku map you desire.
After the release of the February Update, downloading this content separately via platform storefronts is no longer required and can be deleted from your hard drives.

Good news the player base shall not be divided by this one map anymore. Excellent. - 262 postsMemberI wonder if survival maps would be included in this.

There is the CQC map, the Goazon Badlands, where the movie Star Destroyer crashes.'Remember: Your focus determines your reality.'0 - 309 postsMemberCross-posting:
Also on that note, The Battle of Jakku will become a required download and will become apart of the main playlist (no more having to pick). The Battle of Jakku unique download can be uninstalled after the February Update has been released.
How will this work on PS4? You can't seemingly delete DLC individually on that console can you?
Thanks Mat. - 1 postsMemberWell that sucks. I play mainly supremacy and Jakku is a terrible supremacy map. As such I've been playing the main game map rotation and skipping Jakku. This may be the straw that breaks the camels back for me. Season pass content had better be good or there's a good chance the game disk gets removed from my PS4 and gathers dust.

You're going to stop playing the game because a map got added to the rotation? lmao. If a map pops up that you don't like just back out like everyone else does in any game ever - 174 postsMemberI am grateful for this however is anyone else irritated that we have not heard or even seen anything related to the new maps we are getting in the patch????

You will see it tomorrow when they roll it out. One more night won't kill you. - 253 postsMemberWell that sucks. I play mainly supremacy and Jakku is a terrible supremacy map. Do you think anyone actually cares about what gathers dust in your abode? - 2871 postsMemberYay, I would @ Sledge but its a violation to tag players and mods to look at your post or topic so yay Sledge. Yay Dice.

We will survive..
But if you think about all the hype prior to The battle of Jakku (teaser, live-stream, news articles), and it only had 2 maps. This patch also contains one large map and therefore they could have hyped us a bit, tho gain media attention.. - 4468 postsMemberThis is great! Hopefully. I still feel pressure to get plenty of gametime in now before the first DLC hits, as I anticipate that'll just make it even harder to find games0 - 1049 postsMemberThis move was a no brainer..really hard to believe it took so long.
Hopefully and free maps and modes in the future will be added to the main game from the start and not messed around with on tabs like this..Tabs just divide players and make matchmaking more difficult. - 39 postsMemberGreat, but how exactly can we remove previously downloaded DLC from PS4 hard drive?
- 2 postsMemberYeah I tried to find a delete option for the Jakku DLC on PS4 but can't seem to find it. How do I get rid of that 1.5 GB that is now already in the game?

Just delete the game files from your HDD and reinstall swbf. Tedious if you did a digital download I suppose.
But then again drive space wouldn't matter to you if you bought my ps4 from me. I installed a 1.5tb HDD the moment I took it home.
Too bad I don't play the thing and it just accumulates dust - 746 postsMemberYeah I tried to find a delete option for the Jakku DLC on PS4 but can't seem to find it. How do I get rid of that 1.5 GB that is now already in the game?

you may already know this but according to sledge we are getting 'twilight on hoth' map. on all the larger map game modes. and even on drop zone and blast. im very happy we are getting another blast mode map.I am grateful for this however is anyone else irritated that we have not heard or even seen anything related to the new maps we are getting in the patch???? - 38 postsMemberCan we have the option in game either to pick a game and have map rotation or choose a map and stay on it, turning point has been spoilt now due to map rotation. Graveyard of giants should have been left how it was for TP.

Voting system????? No just the option to choose a map to play and stay on it, its hard enough to get on a game without having to pull out after it finishes just to have to wait until you get put in a game again, ive noticed alot of players doing this since the update, jakku should have stayed as graveyard only, its by far the communities favorite map for this game. - 38 postsMemberCan we have the option in game either to pick a game and have map rotation or choose a map and stay on it, turning point has been spoilt now due to map rotation. Up until now it's been the only map the community have had for Turning point, so give the other maps time, you might get used to them and enjoy some of them. Personally I think it's great that they have opened this up to the other maps, it has extended the life of the mode. - 202 postsMemberCross-posting:

thats what i am wondering. im hoping that maybe on PS4 the new update file automatically overwrites the individual battle of jakku file. if not i have no idea how to delete it. - 38 postsMember

Not saying i dont like the other maps they are all good fun, what im saying is we the community should be able to choose a map and stay on it, i do prefer turning point, but to choose that map and get put on final control point just to be sent to another map is poor, and so it starts again you have to search a new game and hope you start at the beginning and so it goes on. - 2 postsMemberI too like the graveyard immensely. I have over 1000 games on it. Sledgehammer70 you say to just pick the map you want. I have tried and after 15 minutes of no game I give up. If a person does get on that map will they stay on it for good or do they go into auto-rotation?

I'm a little worried about the +battle of jakku option in the game mode selection. I hope when all the dlc maps come out there will be servers dedicated to rotating all the released maps. I wasn't a fan of the way battlefield 4 did it where if you wanted to play the China rising dlc maps you would have to choose only the China rising dlc maps and it would rotate through those 4 maps. Same thing if you wanted to play any of the other dlc maps. There were a couple of unofficial servers that rotated through them all, and I guess now there is an 'all year one maps' option now but it took quite a while to get it out. Since battlefront doesn't have a server browser or unofficial servers (as far as I'm concerned) so I'm a tad bit confused on how this is going to play out, what do you guys think?
Stephen Malkmus is a legend, and this is a great album with eclectic influences, on first few listens I hear strands of Joy Division, Can, and Stephen Malkmus is a legend, and this is a great album with eclectic influences, on first few listens I hear strands of Joy Division, Can, and Kraftwerk, swirls of early fuzz-rock and electronica.
I really appreciate the streak he's on with these last few albums, enough of the familiar to keep old fans coming back and enough experimentation to keep himself having fun.
